“Transcendence” 2020 is a collection of original fine artwork created by Jessica Young as a creative culmination of deep thought, emotion and self-inquiry over the course of 31 years.

The essence of the collection is to capture both the light and dark aspects of the human existence; as told through the eyes of one human and one subjective experience. Each piece in the collection holds a story as told through non-traditional poetry and self-expression.

Combining a variety of finely tuned fluid art techniques Jessica attempts to relate to the human experience via abstract expression. This body of work is a collective story in relating to what it means to be an imperfect human. It begs the viewer to find deeper meaning in what is often a confusing world of both shadow and color, good and evil, joy and devastation.

The collection comprises of 15 pieces of varying sizes all created with Jessica’s signature intuitive fluid art style. The pieces were created with a variety of mixed medias from inks, fluid acrylics, Gold Leaf and several layers of artist-grade epoxy resin.
